How far the AI goes
An AI action, like drafting key results, pulling from your manager’s OKRs or suggesting a progress update, uses about 10k–20k tokens with your company context. 500k tokens is roughly 25–50 actions per person a month. A quarter’s planning plus weekly check-ins fits comfortably.

- Run out? Nothing stops mid-planning. Add 1M tokens for $10, or paste your own Claude, OpenAI, DeepSeek or OpenRouter key in the AI model panel for unlimited AI billed by your provider.
- Your assistant is free. When Claude, Cursor or another assistant works on your OKRs through the MCP server, it uses its own model, so none of your tokens are spent.
- Never trained on. Your OKRs and company context are never used to train a model.

Who counts as a person?
Everyone on your workspace’s org chart, whether you added them on the canvas or imported them from a CSV.
What happens when we add a 16th person on Free?
OKR.ai asks an admin to pick a plan. Nothing is deleted, and the first 15 keep working. Or move the workspace to your own database for unlimited people at no cost.
Why is self-hosted free?
It runs on your machine, your database and your AI key, so it costs us nothing to run. You pay for Cloud when you want us to host the database and the AI model for you.
Can we move between Cloud and self-hosted?
Yes, either way. The Database panel copies your workspace to another store, and the old copy stays until you delete it.
Do unused AI tokens roll over?
No. The pool resets each month. Top-ups you buy last 12 months.
